About us

Echology Ltd was established in 2011 by Jack Egerton as there was clearly a need for a company able to offer hydroacoustics (using portable equipment in conjunction with small local vessels) often in remote environments. Jack obtained a PhD at Bangor University "Hydroacoustics for the quantification of fishes in Marine Protected Areas" and this and post-doctoral research has resulted in various academic publications.
